The OSHA Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) are published in a crammed together boring unvarying run-on format which is not user friendly.

Thus, for years, I used OSHA books (also available via searchable USB flash drives) produced by Mancomm in a user-friendly format (see www.mancomm.com).

In contrast to the CFR’s run-on boring hard-to-use format, Mancomm formatted OSHA regulations include: (1) color-coded information (2) bold text and italics (3) reference citations (4) outline format with indenting (5) bracketed revisions in an outline format (6) tabbed subsections (7) colored graphics, and (8) page numbers for reference information.

Recently, I discovered Mancomm’s OSHA Electrical Succinct Regulations & Standards information which consolidates the following OSHA electrical safety regulations from the CFR into one easy-to-use Mancomm formatted book or USB flash drive:

  • CFR 1926 Subpart K
  • CRF 1910 Subpart S
  • CFR 1910 Subpart R
  • CFR 1926 Subpart V
  • 137 Electrical PPE
  • 147 LOTO

After using the Mancomm easy-to-use information, it can then be checked or confirmed against the actual OSHA CFR boring run-on wording as appropriate as a matter of good practice.
